a spontaneous and unplanned journey where the traveller is guided by the landscape and architecture
My theory of dérive is a body a work that took me about two years to complete, but it is also a project that I feel will never be done, as my heart will always long for far off places. This series holds a vast amount of symbolism, but this symbolism isn't necessary for the viewers to know or understand. What may seem like a collection of landscape paintings to the viewer, to me, is the fruition of two years of creative wanderings. Two years of discovery, hardships, joys, successes, failures, patience, and frustrations. I hope these pieces will inspire you to find your own Theory of Dérive
